Elle a une temp\u00e9rature de -79 \u00b0C. En la projetant avec de l`air, elle se sublime et ne laisse aucun r\u00e9sidu. Le nettoyage ou le d\u00e9capage est effectu\u00e9 sans eau ni produits chimiques. Beaucoup moins abrasif que le jet de sable (<em>sandblast<\/em>), le jet de soda est principalement utilis\u00e9 sur les surfaces d\u00e9licates; il est moins co\u00fbteux que la glace s\u00e8che.
